Set a TikTok sound as your alarm

If a TikTok audio has been living rent-free in your head, you can wake up to it. Here's how to turn any TikTok sound into an alarm on iPhone and Android — step by step.

Step 1 — Save the audio with Zoned

  1. 1Open TikTok and tap Share → Copy link on the video.
  2. 2Go to Zoned and paste the link. The audio lands in your library.
  3. 3With Zoned Pro, tap the download button on the track to save the audio file to your device.

Step 2a — iPhone: set as alarm

iOS doesn't let you use arbitrary audio files as alarm tones directly, but you can import one as a custom ringtone through GarageBand:

  1. 1Install GarageBand (free from the App Store) if you don't have it.
  2. 2In the Files app, find your downloaded audio. Tap and hold it → Share → Copy to GarageBand.
  3. 3In GarageBand, open the file as an audio project. Tap the three dots → My Songs.
  4. 4Long-press the project → Share → Ringtone. Name it and tap Export.
  5. 5In the Clock app, add an alarm → Sound → Pick a Song → Ringtones → select your exported tone.

Step 2b — Android: set as alarm

Android gives you direct file access, which makes this much simpler:

  1. 1Download the audio from Zoned Pro to your device.
  2. 2Using a file manager app, move the audio file to Internal Storage / Alarms (or Ringtones, depending on your device).
  3. 3Open the Clock app → add an alarm → tap Alarm sound.
  4. 4Select your file from the list. Done.
Simpler alternative: if you just want the sound to play when you wake up rather than as a system alarm, set a reminder that opens Zoned and plays the track. Zoned starts playing with one tap from the notification.
